Maybe a good attitude helps you stay healthy.

I'm probably going to get pneumonia then...

I think that was covered in my psych class-why is it here?

I've never gotten pneumonia. My mom always panics if I'm outside without a warm coat if it's 40 degrees out. Of course, she's cold when it's 75 in here.

lol - well, my Dad constantly turns up the heat(puts a log on the fire, I mean) if it gets below 70 - my mom constantly opens the windows no matter what the temperature outside.
Then I close them - she opens them and reprimands me - then I close them again....

Just yesterday - it's like 17 degrees out and and she had the window open.
I dunno how many times we've gotten spanked and punished for being outside without "proper clothing".

My mom's only allowed to open the windows in the summer. One time, the guys were gone, and it was 90 degrees outside-she would not close the windows and turn the air on. Very bad.

I wish it was 17 out here.

Current temps:

68 indoors, about 30 outside.

I consider 75 a bit too warm.

I think it's about the same here.

I prefer it to be at least 50 - 60 degrees outside, and 70 inside in the winter.

Now - our basement is about 20 degreesexaggeration. Luckily we don't keep that fireplace down there going.

We have a wood stove in our basement-use it instead of the furnace. It can get really warm down there, though.

No. We know places to get wood free.

Nice. 8)
We've been cutting the dang stuff out of our forest for the past 9 years.
Chopping, splitting, cutting, sawing, stacking, hauling...

I imagine that's how Dad got his hernia.

How ironic that he thoughtfully had an expensive heating system installed when our house was built - that had to be repaired several times due to non-use!

That's what I meant by free. Luckily, I'm not conscripted for it. I have to *shudders* help in the kitchen.

Yeah, the sisters never had to help us gather wood either. Not that they did any kitchen work - they mostly just sat around the living room playing - fighting - screaming - having tantrums...

How old are they?

People don't scream at my house. Though my brother was just saying I should be working on school-as if I really have any.
