My brothers got left-over MRE's from someone once-the ones no one else wanted. Disgusting, but apparently better than what my Dad got when he was in.
Yeah, I've heard mixed reports about them from relatives who've eaten them, but according to Tom Clancy's book on armored cavalry, they've gotten better.
We toured an arsenal about six months ago, and the soldiers said the food had been improved.

Man, I go for a nice climb up Mt. Spamfoundtopical and this guy tries to kill me!
So what's going on in here? Other than Darth chasing me down a mountain, USG bombarding Fin with snowballs, and RJ eating yellow snow (gross BTW)?

*looks to the right and sees Fin and USG charging down at me*
TURN!!!! STOP!!!!!! NOOOOO!!!!!!
*gets hit and flies high into the sky*
*gun disappears somewhere in the snow*
*falls head first into snow and only waist down can be seen*
*kicks legs like crazy*
