If you knew how to use Adobe Flash and you wanted to make your own Sonic game, what would it be? From story all the way to gameplay.


ANSWER ME NOW.

Flash isn't fast enough for Sonic.

Also, everything are computers. You carry (probably) a general purpose computer around in your pocket with more compute power than anything available to the general public 15 years ago. That ... thing on your coffee table that you call a console is just a computer that's been stripped of a few components, frozen in time (no upgrades), and given a user interface so devoid of expressive power that it's laughable (controllers are no substitute, keyboard + mouse rules). Nevertheless, use whatever computer you like best.

Anyway. Back to your regularly scheduled diversions.

Can you at least try to answer the question as if Flash was fast enough? And besides, Flash is only slow if it's internet and if your computer is really old. Not to mention it is way fast on loaded on your desktop and you have Flash Player installed.

So what Sonic game would you make?

Okay okay, on modern hardware Flash can be snappy. On anything more than 4 years old Flash turns to sludge after about 10 minutes of play. Personal experience, take it or leave it. But to the question, I'm not a huge fan of Sonic but the original had a lot of charm to it.

Only with the release of the PS4 and the Xbox 720, and I'm sure you could still build a better PC.
