Just the whole rock band girl singer thing, I guess.

I won't argue with you on who's more talented. :P

Do you prefer music from a band, or music put together by one person?

Ah, thank you. I'd be sorely beaten. I've listened to just enough Paramore to decide I didn't like them. :D Ohno's gonna beat me though. :(

Both. I enjoy music that sounds good. I love the fact that music by a band can have interweaving sounds that mesh together to create epic sounds that make me want to cry. I've also been deeply moved by music played by a single person, with all of their hearts poured in.

This is just typical of my experience though. Single players can create epic sounds using a synth or recording the parts separately. :D

The same with Narnia. The director changed so much of what was awesome in the books, removing or changing subplots, characters and plots so they appealed to modern people. I seriously hate that.

But...Liam Neeson. <3
Yes, Andrew Adamson did change Prince Caspian quite a bit, but I still loved it. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was pretty much spot on, though...

Voyage of the Dawn Treader Movie?

What? No way! TLWATW was close to the book, but added several action scenes to make it more appealing. And managed to carefully dance around the parts of the book that were allegory to God. Except for Aslan dying, which would have destroyed the plot entirely.

I don't know. Same with the LOTR movies. They've been slaughtered, so I'm hesitant.

Do you have any games you can trade out, my good sir?

I ask because I've traded out three games via Goozex this week (well... two, but I'm first in line to trade out another that is demanded... all of which I paid very little for)... and I'm getting six games in return.

If you have a game you'd be willing to part that doesn't have long lines and/or low demand, you could easily snatch up Marvel Ultimate Alliance (and maybe something else with it).

And uh... MUA keeps getting better and better. I think you'd love it.

Hmm...I could probably find a few. I'd really like to try Goozex, especially since I still have my free trade. the problem is finding a game I know I won't wish to play in the future.

The good news is that if you change your mind and want it back in the future, it's unlikely that the point value will go up (or go up much, anyway), so you can trade back with shipping being your only cost (think of it as an extended rental).

I may end up reacquiring one of the games I've traded out in the future, but I can't play it for the next year (can't play M-rated games under school contract)... so it doesn't do any good in my collection now.

Have you ever jumped from one rooftop to another?

Ah, but shipping is where the issue is. :D I'll look through my games, and check the point values though. It'd probably be better to start trading them instead of spending cash, anyway.

Also, fur srs, a sharpie marker. >_>

What did you think of the Prince Caspian film? I honestly thought it was pretty decent, but it always starts a huge argument when I try to defend it against my friend.

He also claims that Douglas Gresham hated it too (in a supposed NZ interview), but he can't give me any solid proof, and I've read interviews where Gresham himself supported the film and the changes they made from the book.

Meh. It was a good movie, but wasn't anything like the book except for settings and names. The thing that really bugged me is that they had this hot "spanish" guy playing Caspian instead of a younger child. I halfway wonder if they did that to go the whole romantic route between him and Susan.

I didn't think he was supposed to be that much younger..but yes, the romantic aspect was one of the few things I didn't like about the movie.

Also, it really isn't just settings and names. They had the basic plot, and many of the lines are taken straight from the book. I should know, I had to do a theatrical production of it.

Oh well. Movies are movies, I guess. I'm going to be seriously ticked off if Fox screws up Voyage of the Dawn Treader because that's my favorite Narnia book.
