I was thinking more literal torture.
But hey. Those work.
Having people stare at your food because you ordered the best thing out of the group? XD

Yeah. It was pretty fun.
Can you explain my incessant need to have something in my mouth?

Oral fixation, Chozon, which means you're dependent and passive, accd. Freud.
Don Quixote?

It's called "Motor Mouth combined with high metabolism Syndrome."Chozon1 wrote:Yeah. It was pretty fun.

Or what Oro said.
I read some of that...but my main familiarity with the story is through reading about/watching adaptions of it.Orodrist wrote:Oral fixation, Chozon, which means you're dependent and passive, accd. Freud.

What would you consider to be the best era of science fiction?

Assuming you mean era in reference to when most stories were written, easily the 40's-50's. Asimov, Clarke, Heinlein. All that really needs to be said there.
Though there are a few good 60's stories, (Dune being chief among them) and the 80's/90's have decent stuff as well (Thinking Card here).
And lets not forget Verne and Wells, though. Both are really good, even though I consider Asimov a better author.

Huh. I'm going to have to say '30's myself. Lovecraft and all.
Any ideas on where to sell my first edition Steinbeck?
Craigslist isn't working. Didn't really expect it to though.

I'd try half.com, ebay, or (if you can find one) a book collector website.Orodrist wrote:Huh. I'm going to have to say '30's myself. Lovecraft and all.

Legally, I can't without repercussions. But it involves a nude Grecian statue (Zeus. Oh Zeus), 3 band saws, more rotten eggs than you can count, Tim Taylor, and an unspeakable.
