I'm going to create a new topic about this so we can quit derailing things, and others can add in their own points of view.

I agree, but your average gamer is going to have NO idea what just happened. That needs to be fixed. How? I'm not sure, but it needs to be done.
Except that your "average gamer" isn't likely to finish ME3 anyway.

Bastion.
There are some games that just sorta blow my mind. Braid blows my mind because of it's obfuscatory difficulty; Modern Warfare blew my mind because of it's level of polish and cliffhanger ending. BAstion blows my mind because the game is just mind blowing.
First off, the voice acting is amazing. Which is good, since there's a mysterious voice narrating everything you do. Not just in cutscenes, but every moment of the game, most of the actions of 'The Kid' are narrated. Fall off a ledge? The voice will say 'And the kid fell to his death--just kidding'. A really tough critter or two tries to end you? "Next, the windbags sic the brothers on him--kid doesn't flinch, and gives them a thing or two back". Just...a really amazing thing. The Kid is silent throughout the entire game, except for grunts or screams, while the narrator speaks with every move. Doesn't hurt his voice is very nice to listen to.
Next, there's the graphical direction. Aside from the stunningly beautiful art style, there's a western/steampunk sort of feel to the world that I loved. It's a standard hack and slasher, but it feels entirely unique. There's really not enough that I could say about way the game looks and feels. It's made me believe that all games should have a narrator. XD And the story was enough to make me almost cry at the end. Half of that was for the lame-ish ending; mostly it was because of the sheer awesomeness.
Game costs $15 bucks (or 1200 points) and lasted me around 6-7 hours, with a New Game+ option. So no complaints. Excellent game. I could easily recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind the active presence of a pantheon and bloodless violence.

I just might try that game.
Hmmmm...
-Terraria
I now declare this game mastered.
I took down all the bosses.
Man, next time I am going to get some help.
Though, now... that I mastered the game... there is not much to do on single player.
To bad there won't be any more updates, but for a game that was $2.50 on sale,
it was a full game that lasted me over 70 hours.

It was good. And in fact, you can mostly avoid the pantheistic aspect. It's still within the story, but using the idols is optional since it's just a sort of challenge mode.
Battlefield: Bad Company.
I'm actually torn on this game. On the one hand, it's clearly a multiplayer centric title (which I typically hate; I rarely play multiplayer games, and even less so when it's an exclusively online mode), and it treats war as a fun game (which was a huge contrast for me, since I basically beat Modern Warfare and then loaded this in), which bothers me a bit. Humor, sure; but it grates on my brain a bit to treat it that way.
On the other hand, the game was dirty hilarious, and I laughed aloud multiple times. Not chuckles either, but belly laughs. It also had a fun story mode, especially for a multi-centric game; no complaints. It also had likeable characters, and 'war is a fun game pewpewpew kaboom' flavor aside, there were actually several deep thoughts sprinkled about like daises. And I make it a point not to be that guy that reads ridiculously deep into things.
So it was a gewd game; I'dve liekly enjoyed it more had I not just experience the grit and pain of Modern Warfare's portrayal of war. There was also the fact that Bad Company was motivated entirely by greed, and had 12 year old language issues.

That's good to know.
I just beat Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
The ending was great, and the final battle was epic.
It's a great game, though I probably won't end up replaying it.

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood
Good game, but think it should have just been an extra DLC for ACII. This and Revelations are pretty much just fillers. I liked it though.
