Chord forms for piano are much more complex?

More complex can mean many things, but if anything they're easier to make and learn since a Piano is a more direct form of Music theory application than most other instruments.

Sure. There's that...but I was thinking more about the fact that learning five barre chord shapes will allows you to cover the gamut as far as things go...but piano chords have individual shapes per chord.
