Love lost in large amounts, is not very far from where you are, past all the streets and shady trees, inside the biggest house in town?

Does music get any more arrogant than that?

EDIT:

So...

Yeah.

I'm thinking a new video card, a couple GB of RAM (max acc. to the manual), a HDD (stuck with ATA...), a wireless expansion card, and a possible upgrade to the processor.

What do you think?

I think so, but....yeah that's.....wow. I liked the first 20 seconds. Then it was like "WTH?" I think song.....exudes arrogance. XD

Parallel ATA (Also known as IDE) or Serial ATA?

The processor can wait for a bit, I think. it's not bad. Not fantastic, but not bad. If you can get one, get a Core 2 Duo or similar when you upgrade.

Is the max RAM 2 Gigs or what? Get as much as possible, especially if you get Windows 7 or Vista.

As for video card, what slots does it have, and did it even come with a card?

Parallel. Which sucks because I can't find a drive for it above 500gb.

EDIT:Scratch that, I may have a couple SATA ports. I don't see any, but the manual insists they're there.

Unfortunately, the MB's using the outdated Socket 478 for the CPU, so my upgrading ability is limited. Max I can get is the P4 3.4GHz

2gigs is the max RAM, but I'm sticking to XP, so...meh.

Right now, at least according the the manual, the onboard graphics is an SiS Real256E, with an AGP for expansion.

Who'd have thought I'd actually be using stuff I learned in my computer hardware class?

Yeah, no joke. At any rate, you're in luck since this stuff is dirt cheap now.

Just make sure to get a good video card. :P

Oh yeah it's cheap. Numbers say I can just about max it for $300 or so.

So, what components come into play for HD video?

I mean, I'm assuming the video card, but is there anything else I need to be aware of?

HD video.....

...well, you need a high quality connection port on the card. Like HDMI. DVI works too, but it's not as great resolution. Then you need a cable for said card. And finally, you need a monitor with said port and the resolution you want.

DVI monitors usually come with their respective cables, HDMI monitors usually do not.

What do you think of replacing a monitor with a pair of video glasses?

Also, there's one pair of such eyewear that can have a camera attached...and integrate reality with the virtual world.

Meaning, I could in theory make a ninja appear and take a swipe at my head. In 3D.

Well, if you can shell out the cash for the glasses, the adapters, cables and such, go for it.

I prefer monitors, but... :P

Yeah...but it's less creepy than English for that sentence. Which is saying a lot?

Why did I just waste an hour on something that will only cause harm and I hate anyway? O_o
