Generally not a good plan.

My sister gives them to me sometimes. XD This years was a spring lourded donkey card that read "It's your birthday. Shake that ***"

...I pretty much died of laughter. My family is as Christian conservative as you get without forcing women to wear dresses.

Do you remember when we would dance in your apartment until your neighbors knocked on your door?

Why not just change the pups?

Because of two things.

One, I don't want to damage my guitar, because mine is currently routed for S-S-S config, and I want a S-S-H or H-S-H configuration. I would have to take a router to the body, which means re-finishing and possibly damage it.

Two, That amount of work seems a little too much when you consider that Strats aren't great for Metal. :P

True 'nuff. If you want to go off the deep end cash wise, they make Humbuckers that fit into a single coil space, though. At least, I saw a ridiculously thin HB on a guitar the other day. Not sure if you could buy it separate.

I thinking I take the two pickups I replaced and, since they still work (a miracle, seeing as I helped replace them) and making a guitar out of something stupid. Like, a tree limb, turlet seat, or lightsaber. What say you?

I say "Have fun making a neck"

It sounds kinda fun, but I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle that is making a neck. XD

You try making those frets perfectly tuned. XD

Don't like them. Prefer trees. :P

If that's the only issue, it's not a problem. I'm more worried about making a neck to withhold all the tension I'ma need to put on it. I'll just become a temporary nudist and go fretless.

Do you memorize songs before playing them?

Almost always.

Not because I can't sight-read, I just don't like having paper or having to sit at my computer when I play. :P

Maaaaan...I have issues sight reading. I know how, and on a good day, I'd be able to eek out a song in an hour. XD But I prefer using tablature and listening to the song as I go. Not to mention I'm lazy. I'm trying to beat that.

Brain picks are awesome?

Kenny got me started on them. I <3 them now.
