While I pray whern I remember to, and go to church, (forced or nto forced) I just like to do other things other than constantly fill my life with praise. I need breaks, and only listening to Christian music would detroy me, as it's too simple. Even I could play a rift of a simple Tree 62 song, and I've proven that! I don't even play guitar! It's complicated stuff that Yes puts out that I enjoy.
It's not the content of the music I dislike, it's the tune itself.

Yus! From thier first album, The Yes Album, to thier latest remastered incarnation of 90125, they're abotu the biggest in the prog rock genre, which is sadly a dying genre.

Good for you! While it's not thier most complicated song, any Yes is difficult to play. Especially some of thier newer stuff, which is accompanied by an entire orchestra of violins.

Yeah, that one is good. I'm listening to thier magnification album, which is not only them, but an entire orchestra. Extremely mind-bending and epic.

Russenmafia:The hour people have been waiting for centuries
Man's first flight into cosmic space
Here are some of the pioneers
seen off by some of the thousands who contributed to the maiden voyage
Man is stepping into the annal worlds of caution
This is a test flight
Today the space navigaters will spend
Only a few hours in space orbiting the earth
Physical reactions during flight have to be checked
Equipment tested

Yes, I like intellectual music too, whether self-contemplating, historic moments put into a different perspective(As the aforementioned), or just the music itself put into such a context that it is hard to understand(Much less reorganize its meaning into segments you CAN understand), intellectually challenging music is definitely how I choose most of my CDs, MP3s, etc.
But, that's not the "Point" of my post. I listen to christian music also, because it inspires me. As for the intellectually challenging part, that is not specified in many Christian songs. However, for me [at least] some Christian music stimulates ME to ponder why Christianity is valid. Which I ponder...and then try to answer. That way it seems even more intellectually stimulating to me. You don't have to try that, however, because I may be insane in that area.
