I love me some 13th Warrior!
Not gonna lie, I want to start a campaign that way.

Cool, the current roster for the Zombie Apocalypse:
Orodrist
JOJ
Chozon
Arctic.

Maybe 1 more than anybody else can start funneling in after people start dying.

I'm embarrassed to admit I like that movie.

But that's never stopped me before.

So, Arch, did you have a start location in mind, or are we doing something like rolling for hometown advantage or starting separate and meeting up?

Also regarding rolling for tasks, I take it that's for tasks that involve some semblance of skill, not things like, say, crushing styrofoam into gasoline, or other things that an idiot couldn't screw up?

Crushing styrofoam into gasoline sounds like one of the tasks that require a skill roll. If you can convince me it's an easy task, I'll make the DC (Difficulty Class) low. But if it's truly easy, you'd have to pass 5 or 10 to succeed in the task. (this is with a 20 sided dice, with some added bonuses, too). I've never used styrofoam and gasoline to make napalm, but it doesn't sound incredibly complex. Roll a 1 on your skill check, however, and feel my wrath.

No need to roll for walking and chewing bubble gum unless your Intelligence score is below 10.

As for location, since we all aren't physically in the same area, I'm probably going to make up a fictional city. I'll draw up a reason for everyone to be there. Like, a furry convention or something.

Alright, Arctic and I just broke the seventh seal, so we unfortunately started the Zombie Apocalypse.

That means you guys(Orodrist, JOJ, Chozon, Arctic) probably start on your character sheets. Anybody else who wants in, I can add you in just let me know and I'll have you in the fray.

Just like with Redemption of Agronon and When Heroes Are Away, I'd like to use the Myth Weaver system. It's just a matter about signing up and creating a new sheet. Even though I will be using simplified rules for this, it might be easiest to manage with D&D 3.5e sheets. Just as with RoA, if you could add the character sheet to your signature, that'd be awesome.

You don't have to fill out the whole sheets, just:

Name, [Age, Gender, Height, Weight, Eye Color, Hair Color](optional, but might help us picture you better in game. Up to you how you want to fill these out).

Str:
Dex:
Con:
Int:
Wis:
Cha:

Hitpoints: 8 + Constitution Mod

For your Saves, go ahead and give a base 1 for each, and 2 for which one you think you are best at.

No need to fill out Weapons, Armor, Equipment yet. That'll be added later in game.

To get your attributes, roll 4 d6's 7 times, drop the lowest of roll of each set, and choose the 6 best sets and apply them to the 6 attributes as you think best represents you. You can use the dice system here, or your own dice at home if you want.

Here's a sample dice roll and my character sheet.

Attribute Rolls:
1. [dice]0[/dice]
2. [dice]1[/dice]
3. [dice]2[/dice]
4. [dice]3[/dice]
5. [dice]4[/dice]
6. [dice]5[/dice]
7. [dice]6[/dice]

1: 12 -> CON
2: 14 -> STR
3: 13 -> WIS
4: 8 -> DROP
5: 16 -> INT
6: 11 -> CHA
7: 12 -> DEX

Heck yeah. Just got home from classes but I'll have a sheet up in the morning.

Also, is there a way I can somehow add a modifier for my crippling nicotine addiction? Like say, a loss to WIS and DEX if I can't scrounge tobacco?

...I'm a masochist

Note it in the feats. I'll think of something, it'll probably be exactly what you said.
Glad to see you're on board with the RP, lol.

Okay, I should have my character sheet ready pretty soon.

Edit:
okay, time to try this dice plugin out...

1. [dice]0[/dice]
2. [dice]1[/dice]
3. [dice]2[/dice]
4. [dice]3[/dice]
5. [dice]4[/dice]
6. [dice]5[/dice]
7. [dice]6[/dice]

1: 14 -> CHA
2: 10 -> STR
3: 9 -> DROP
4: 15 -> DEX
5: 10 -> CON
6: 13 -> WIS
7: 15-> INT

Okay, I think I did that right. (Wow, my STR is tied with my lowest stat, haha silly other stats taking priority. :P )
I am almost done with my sheet, I just need to fill out a thing or two.
I'll be looking forward to this! :)

Looks good. Go ahead and add your constitution bonus to HP, for a total of 11.

Oh, I just looked up Cha with a dictionary. (It's not what I thought it was.)
So I think I am going to swap it's stats. XD (Glad I caught that before I fully completed the sheet.)

Oh, by the way. What kind of zombies are we dealing with?
