I usually can't stand anime but one I've been finding to be decent is called Blue Exorcist. Still not a fan of the animation because it's so childish looking but this shows starting to grow on me.

Id suggest not to watch an anime were the main character is the "son of the devil"

I laugh when you say anime is "childish". You're more than half right.
Its more than possible you ran into childish anime about girls with eyes half the size of their face. (blaaaaa)

I'd say you might like one if these if you're going for more of a serious tone:

Sword Art Online- has action, low to no romance, and deaths.

Durarara!!- has action, no romance, little dark.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00- high action, sadly a bit drama, good story and characters, bit dark.

Steins Gate- mystery, heavy time travel, dark.

HunterXHunter 2011- very high action, fun anime, till sadly episode 43 it becomes a blood bath.

I would say Naruto Shippuden, but not seeing the first half of the story (the original Naruto) its not hardly as fun.

The original Japanese version of Sonic X. It's just better than the English dub, even though it's not that bad.

Sword Art Online- has action, low to no romance, and deaths.

Have to point out that the animators for this anime really like their camera angles, and the second last episode that came out had a lot of skin being shown and tons of romance.

Still a great anime, though. Did you see the newest episode? I'm so confused! Who was she?

The only problem I have with this series is that, according to the subtitles, there is profanity used in it. Not to mention that Sonic actually uses the S word........ I'm kinda disappointed.....

yeah I was VERY mad when the episode came out!
I mean, everything was awesome, until that one episode.
I can only hope they make a U-turn, otherwise Ill just give up on it. or wait till way later in the anime.

YEAH! SonicX was one of my favorite growing up.
I'm super surprised they would put such profanity in a kid's show.
At first i though it would be just a bad translation, but you can hear sonic say the s word, in English? weird.

Hopefully they move towards them settling in and having a family. This anime has gotten pretty emotional lately, especially with the question arising if they're going to still be together after they finish level 100.

Episode 11 was pretty good, yet very confusing, if you've seen it yet. Where they find the little girl in the middle of the forest. I think she's probably a player that the moderator/admin messed up. They're probably going to try to stop from players trying to beat the game or something. I can see a huge twist coming up soon. I haven't seen the latest episode yet, so yeah.

I used to watch that show. But now it's just not my thing anymore. Trying to be careful with what I watch. Ooooooyyyyyy........so hard to find good anime.
