Sledding Game is a game about sledding and hanging out with your friends
This Friday (26th September) ‘The Sledding Corporation’, aka a really nice solo indie dev called Max, will be launching the first demo for the game, including online multiplayer, on Steam!
Max is documenting the development of his silly game on social media daily, gathering a cult following, +200,000 wishlists and millions of views each week.
What’s in the demo: The demo offers a chill bite-size sampler of the full game to try: go sledding with up to 20 people, crash in style, and hang out with friends (or random sledders) using proximity chat. You can race, build ramps, or relax with mini games like fishing, darts, curling, cornhole, and roasting marshmallows. Max has also added plenty of customization options for the character (hats, scarves, goggles, trinkets, and buildables to mess with). And yes, the Yeti is here too.
About the game
Sledding Game is a multiplayer snowsports hangout game with proximity chat. Go sledding, relax and see what else there is to do. There’s also ragdoll physics so the crashes look terrible really really good.
Use proximity voice chat to talk to friends, or express your feelings by repeatedly crashing into each other. Race on the slopes, stack up points with gnarly tricks, compete in minigames, snowball fights, darts – or just chill out with a cup of hot coca. There’s also customizable characters and cool cosmetics.
Join old friends in private lobbies or go to a public lobby and make new ones. With up to fifty(??) players per lobby, things can get extremely chaotic. Oh and if you go too far while exploring a yeti will appear and kick you back onto the map. Consider yourself warned.
