Great movie. Definitely one of the best comedies I've ever watched.

King of the Hill?
Indeed it is an excellent movie :)
King of the Hill... that's that cartoon isn't it? I knew a guy that thought it was the best thing going. I don't watch TV though. Or many movies for that matter.

Personally neither. But the family likes pets so we have a dog. Litter boxes are one of the lower levels of Hell.

IT slave for a credit union. My preference would be development but I don't get much opportunity for that at work. What code I do get to look at there is... less than ideal.

Well, If you happen to have a system that can play Wind Waker,
I would suggest giving that one a try sometime. :)

Super Smash Bros.?
Don't have a 'cube or a Wii U, see above regarding Nintendo consoles. I've never played SSB.
I've really been a lot more of a PC gaming person since about 2000 or so.

Makes since,
I just figured you had a Wii since you played Skyward Sword.

Do you want to move from IT to development? For what reason? I mean, development is totally awesome, but I'd like to hear your reason.

Also, were/are you interested in game development? If so, any dream game you have sitting in your head?

I do have a Wii. The wikipedia page for it just says 'cube and Wii U so I assumed the Wii was somehow deficient in a way I wasn't aware of. This wouldn't surprise me, not because of the Wii but because of my own limitations.

So if the Wii will play it... how much does Wind Waker attempt to make use of the Wii remote's motion controls?

Because I like development not management. While I can do 'generic' IT work it's drudgery. To be fair I consider development a specialization of 'IT' rather than something somehow separate. Development exercises my brain in ways that other IT work does not and there's nothing so aesthetically pleasing as an efficient and elegant algorithm.

Yes. And no. I once had some ideas but life ground them out of me before I realized why people claim you should keep a journal. Nowdays I'm lucky if I have the motivation left to even look at code by the time I get a chance to do so in the evenings.

Yeah, Mike Judge created that show. I really like it myself. There are a lot of references to Office Space.

Favourite underrated classic?

Can you clarify 'classic'? Music, games, TV, recipes...?

Oh, Wii can play every Gamecube game made, (as far as I know.)
Though since the game was programmed for a Gamecube,
you'll need a Gamecube memory card, and a Gamecube remote.
(So no motion controls at all, just a comfortable remote.)

I'll have to see about trying it then. I completely missed everything Gamecube.

FF6 characters... that's a hard pick. Probably Sabin or Strago. Gogo is interesting too in its own way.
For story I'd have to say Locke.
