Whatcha reading???

Oh, I didn't even think of biting my tongue.

The book I'm reading is Outer Dark by Cormac McCarthy.

This one... could be called disturbing.

Basically, this guy takes his son - born by his sister - and leaves it in the woods. And then the sister finds out and sets off to find it. It's crazy.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Well... I mean... it's like saying you're old first and then young. Or dead first and then alive. Or that bugs are birds and birds are bugs. IT'S SCIENTIFICALLY WRONG. RESPECT THE SCIENCE.

Respect the sciences, or Bill Nye? Because I'm pretty sure Bill Nye is an engineer, not a scientist. :P

I'm reading through 5 programming books (Game Coding Complete, Isometric Game Programming, 3D Game Engine Programming, Game Programming Gems, and Mathematics for 3D Game Programming and Computer Graphics).

That last one? Such an awesome 3D math reference. All those nice little Linear algebra techniques, Vector calculus, and other important maths that you miggt have forgotten.never learned. So good.

I also picked up Moonraker, by Ian Fleming. The previous Bond books were good, so I'm hoping this continues the trend. Starting it tonight. :D

You see that labcoat? That's a scientist labcoat. Duh.

Well, Bill Nye was an engineer, but has done great work as a popularizer of science, and other work in scientific fields, enough to be regarded as a scientist by many.

And I agree with that, I was just thinking of the episode of Stargate Atlantis where he was a guest star. XD

I sadly finished Moonraker. It was a great book.

Just read the entire Narnia Series (again). Currently reading The Hobbit.

Second read through, and just as hilarious as ever.

Just started reading David Brin's Sundiver. Been wanting to check out his Uplift War trilogy.
Also, just started on Death by Black Hole by Neil DeGrasse Tyson. I get the feeling I'm really going to like it.

Right now the books on my immediate to read list include An Abundance of Katherines by John Green and Marvel 1602. I'm really excited about the latter since it's my first comic book; I'm trying to become less ignorant about the genre.

Interestingly enough, I, too, am reading Hunger Games.
Great pace, easy read, and more emotionally stirring than the movie.
Not a great work of literature, but good enough and definitely an enjoyable read.
