Hate to be the pessimist, but not me at least. I wish Bioware would stick to making fantasy-/sci-fi-bestseller class single player games instead of trying to leech out of the juicy MMO markets :/

I am. I played it over the weekend and it was awesome. The gameplay is very much traditional post-WoW mmo style. However the narrative layer that Bioware has put in to the game is just amazing. It really does feel like a 'bioware' product - love it or hate it. I played to level 11 as a Republic Smuggler and level six or so as an Imperial Bounty Hunter. I had more fun in this weekend than I've had in any MMO in the last 3 years.

Might want to fast, the beta weekend started today and ends Sunday. I'm still downloading it though, start 3 hours ago and almost done.
