10. Proverbs 5:9-13 - Give two of the consequences of going the way of a strange woman
cruel years, hard labor
11. Proverbs 5:18 - With whom shall the wise man rejoice? wife of his youth
12. Proverbs 5:21 - What is before the eyes of the Lord? ways of man
13. Proverbs 5:22-23 - Who shall die without instruction? the wicked

Favorite verse: Pro 5:20 Why should you be intoxicated, my son, with a forbidden woman and embrace the bosom of an adulteress?

It truly saddens me with all the infidelity in this world, I wish more people took this verse more seriously.

yeah it's been nuts. Jay is doing better but still pulling long hours to get his work's project ready for April 1st (silly launch date I know)

Saturday I was rear ended but everyone is okay but my minivan needs $1000 in repairs

Proverbs 6

7 abominations

A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness [that] speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Favorite verse: Pro 6:23 For the commandment [is] a lamp; and the law [is] light; and reproofs of instruction [are] the way of life:

It reminds me of the Thy Word song, but good advice nonetheless

the seven abominations are:

A proud look, a lying tongue and hands that shed innocent blood. A heart that imagines evil, feet that run fast to mischief. A false witness that speaks lies, and the man that lies among friends.

My favorite verse: Proverbs 6: 6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.

Because I am, rather ashamedly, lazy. And need to change my ways.

21. Proverbs 7:1-4 - Name the wise man's sister and his kinswoman: wisdom and understanding
22. Proverbs 7:5 - From whom will wisdom and understanding keep the wise? strange woman (temptation)
23. Proverbs 7:21 - How does a strange woman cause the simple to yield? fair speech and flattering
24. Proverbs 7:25 - “Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.”
25. Proverbs 7:27 - “Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.”

favorite verse: Pro 7:25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

Temptation is hard to resist but well worth it if you do

2) wisdom and understanding will keep you away from Strange women.

3) With fair speech and flattering lips.

4) Proverbs 7: 25 Let not thy heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

5) Proverbs 7: 27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

I wouldn't call it my favorite verse, but the one that stuck out to me was Proverbs 7: 15

"Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee."

That stuck out to me because, taking this as just a light vs darkness issue, and not explicitly stating women, evil--the Strange flattering harlot--was seeking for those devoid of understanding. Which is a somewhat frightening thought.

3. Proverbs 8:11 - What is better than rubies? wisdom

5. Proverbs 8:13 - What do those who fear the Lord hate? evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth
6. Proverbs 8:17 - When is a good time to seek wisdom? when seeking the Lord
7. Proverbs 8:18 - What is found with wisdom? riches and honor
8. Proverbs 8:22-31 - Who possessed wisdom from the beginning? the Lord
9. Proverbs 8:35 - What will those who find wisdom obtain? life

Favorite verse: Pro 8:11 For wisdom [is] better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

How true is that? You can't put a price tag on wisdom and it's truly a gift from the Lord and a free gift at that.

1) The simple and the foolish need to understand wisdom.

2) Wickedness in an abomination to wise lips.

3) Wisdom is better than rubies.

4) Prudence dwells with wisdom.

5) Evil, defined as Pride, arrogance, the evil way or froward lips.

6) Early.

7) Lasting riches, honor and righteousness.

God possessed wisdom from before time began. ^_^

9) Life, and Gods favor will come to those who find wisdom.

Proverbs 8: 2 was a good reminder to me that wisdom can be found in most places, if only we look.

14. Proverbs 9:13-18 - What are three qualities of a foolish woman? clamorous, simple, and knoweth nothing.

Favorite verse: Pro 9:10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.

I'll be the first to admit that I should give the Lord more respect than I do, I can be a little to casual at times. Yes He's a personable God but not to the extent of telling jokes to I guess.

3) A wise man that receives instruction grows wiser.

4) Understanding is the knowledge of the Holy.

5) A foolish women is clamorous, simple and knows nothing.

Favorite verse: Proverbs 9: 10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

That's my favorite because it reminds me where my priorities lie.

16. Proverbs 10:3 - What promise does the Lord have for the soul of the righteous? The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish
17. Proverbs 10:7 - What is the memory of the just? Blessed
18. Proverbs 10:8 - “The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a babbling fool shall fall.”
19. Proverbs 10:12 - “Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.”
20. Proverbs 10:19 - “In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.”
21. Proverbs 10:29 - What is strength to the upright? the way of the Lord

Favorite verse...so many good ones, hard to choose!

Pro 10:20 The tongue of the just [is as] choice silver: the heart of the wicked [is] little worth.

I like this verse because the power of words is amazing
