Restart Havoc?

I know it's not confirmed that a restart will happen but if there is, can the players make havoc to things that will not be saved in the restart? I feel like this will make things much more fun. It will get that griefing out of them. I know everyone has had that feeling once in their life while playing Minecraft. And I can accept it if you deny this request, it was just a idea that popped in my head while looking at my chest of TNT...

as far as I know we're going to try MCEdit first...I think Cantore volunteered for that (I have never used it...) If the world were to get reset I would zip this world up and offer it as a download so you can can still do stuff with it in single player and whatnot.
