Since this isn't the most destructive form of griefing, I'm more inclined to vote for a second chance provided it wasn't an overwhelming number all over the place or something...

As much as I hate to say it, I'm inclined to agree. As long as nothing major was destroyed, I would consider giving him a second chance.

I placed 2 signs saying something in latin i found on google. One at the edge of a bridge a bit away from everyone and one inside a house. They both were in the /warp new town area.

In addition to being banned previously on an another server for quite obvious reasons (here, and here with just 15 minutes in between) ... seems to me like you guys should clean up your act a little bit, just come clean and admit if you've been on the wrong track :/

Well, it doesn't really take long to type your nicknames into Google. Plus I am a researcher by profession in real life.

Now would most likely be your best chance to come clean. CCGR is a nice community, and you would have fun time playing with good manners in a friendly environment.

I must admit.. I kinda liked that server. You guys were a bit welcoming to new people there. I could play legit on it. If you guys would want to give us a chance we could play good there. Being banned. That's not really a problem for us. We have alts, but well that would be so much work getting whitelisted and all :p and no that's just small talk. Nothing threatening at all. I wouldnt mind playing on that server. If you guys could think of maybe having us we would play legit. I talked to the other guys and they agree with me.

What a load of bovine dung... Say you manage a wal mart or something. Some guys come in that have a history of stealing, get caught and then say they will make an exception because you have a nice store -_-

As I said. We have plenty of alts. If we really wanted to we could just get them whitelisted over the course of a few months to not arise suspision, Get trust on the server then strike you but nope. We won't do that. I said why because I like this server. Idunno if that's proof enough for you to show we don't want to grief the server.

I believe in second chances (or third or fourth or ...), but I am not an active participant of the CCGR MC-server, so I am not in a position to suggest a course of action. I'm sure Cheryl and/or mods will line out a response here soon.

What I would hope, is that you guys could find enjoyment in the creation, not annoyance, with others. Even if the ban was not lifted, and you decided to come play on the CCGR servers on alternative accounts, I would hope you guys would do it just to enjoy the company. I understand the thrill there can be involved in annoying others, but I would suggest thinking about the long run: I know from experience, that you can even make life-long friends on the internet, learn and shares things just like in real-life relationships. Sure, it may feel cool to harrass a community of Christians over the internet, but you might just gain so much more from living peacefully along-side them.

And making friends applies for any server for Minecraft, not just the one offered here. Games are just games, I admit that, but the people behind the nicknames are real. Admins can rollback griefing in a blink of an eye, but friendships or even single cherished moments may last a life-time.
