Thats probably because they wanted to reinact the TV show, and in the TV show it's ongoing.

The Incredible Hulk.

Great movie, great fight scenes, great comic relief and to top it off, great content-wise.

I give it a solid A

The only reason I didn't give it an A+ was because Liv Tyler's voice made her seem kinda....stupid. I laughed at her lines a lot.

Wow.

I'm going to give this two scores, one for fans of the series who've seen every episode, and one for those who haven't seen any, or only a few.

1. (Fans)

Excellent continuation of the series, definitely a must see for fans.

A+

2. (Non-Fans)

Confusing, plot seems to go slow, very jumpy, and lame, inconclusive ending, but great action sequences, and the plot is interesting.

Three movies in the last 24 hours (while researching my arcade stick project, of course)... in order:

In the Land of Women - B

So... I wasn't really sure what to expect. My mom went out and rented a bunch of movies for our recovery day (the last few days have been nothing short of insane)... this was one of 'em. There was more than a little intentional awkwardness (in terms of the characters and their interactions). This played to the film's credit in creating a setting that wasn't quite ordinary, but it could be related to. The acting was, on the whole, pretty good. With the exception of the cheesy montage that was tucked away in the middle of the film, production qualities were pretty good, too. I ended up liking the movie a lot more than I thought I would. It was good.

P2 - C-

Suspense movies like this one are hard for me to rate. It was fairly suspenseful, but the premise was unoriginal. Actually, "unoriginal" is a word that pretty much applies to the whole movie. It was done well enough... it just didn't have a strong enough foundation to really be that good.

Casino (USA TV edit)) - B+

This movie isn't easy for me to grade, either. On the one hand, it was very solid with a good story and interesting characters. On the other hand, it really felt like the story was what would happen if Godfather Part II and Scarface had a kid. The acting was great, and the overall production very solid. The movie just didn't blow my mind as I hoped it would.

OK. NOt as good as Reloaded IMO, but still good. (I should note that I watched it with a content filter so I'm grading on movie quality only.)

B

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

Excellent movie! The only thing wrong was Kevin Costner's off and on British accent and some mild historical inaccuracy (The Moor never would have been tolerated in Medieval England) But other than that great movie. Kudos for not glamorizing the witch character.

The Departed - A+

Amazing movie, best movie I have seen all summer. I heard about this movie last year, and I didn't think I would like it, but I was wrong. It had a great storyline, some unexpected twist, I loved the ending, and the star studded cast was a great pick. And as a bonus, Jack Nicholson plays an amazing mob boss.

Content: I really cant name the amount of times they said f*ck...or s*it...and they said c*nt twice. This should be a good indication of the gigantic amount of swearing, litterally every other line. As for violence, its very humourous as to how they introduce it. While in the classroom, we see cadettes watching a guy explain how a bullet impacts a body and how it sprays the blood. We witness this several times in the movie, and its pretty funny actually. A guy falls from a building and after the impact the blood sprays on a character, a guy waves around a chopped off hand, a guy commits suicide (cullet to the head), several people are punched...a women is strangles with a wire...*sigh*....in one scene 3 people are shot in 50 seconds at different times...it's pretty bad.

Conclusion: Wow, to tell you the truth, after seeing this movie I wanted to say f*ck really badly, thats how often the word is used and the violence is so frequent it's hilarious. If you're a person who wants to see a clean movie, dont even think about watching the first 2 minutes...and yes sir you are correct, there is an f-word in that 2 minutes. But, f you dont care, go NOW, rent it, extremely good movie...well movie-wise.

The Departed. Yeah. It was great. But it's overrated.

Just saw Get Smart. And it was absolutely hilarious. I was laughing constantly from the opening credits to the end. I was worried about Steve Carrel's movie career after the crap that was Evan Almighty, but that was just fantastic.

I'm nearing the end of Definitely, Maybe. Honestly, it's been great. B+ (or even A-) territory... easily. A little heart-wrenching at times... but that just comes with the territory.

Freaking creepy as all! Now I must drown myself in Guild Wars to wash away the creepy.

Blue Velvet

This is one of those movies that is so bizarre, disturbing and well-made that it's hard to know what to say about it. Certainly, it's one of the best mysteries I've ever seen, and the acting was very good throughout. Some strange imagery and messed up sexual stuff (nothing graphic... just implications) really ruins the movie, though the story is one of the best that I've ever sat through. A

Seven

I wanted to show this to my sister... so I did. And it was awesome. As always. A+

Be Kind, Rewind

I really wanted to love this movie. I really did. It was hilarious through the first two-thirds, but the ending chose to go a way that I wouldn't have. Other than that... it was pretty awesome. B-

Southland Tales

To be honest... I never wanted to see this movie. After seeing the cast--Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Seann William Scott and Sarah Michelle Gellar getting top billing--Southland Tales seemed sadly lackluster to me. I was hopeful when I found out that the guy who was behind Donnie Darko was doing the movie... but a witty script and some excellent characterizations didn't do much to salvage a plot that devolved into silliness and a poor cast full of Saturday Night Live alums. L.A. Confidential

This is one of my favorite movies. Every time I see it, I'm astounded by the amazing ensemble cast (Danny DeVito, Guy Pearce, Kevin Spacey, James Cromwell, Russell Crowe, Kim Basinger and others), the smart script, and the excellent cinematography. A
