Got promoted. 
Story: over Christmas, my sister sent me some of her uniforms after she got out of the army. Along with them she sent her older Sergeant rank (She was a Staff Sergeant). On Monday our homeschool group had a "presentation" night for parents and families and the worship team (I'm the drummer) decided since it is one of my last gigs with them that the team was to wear camo. I wore my ACUs my sister sent me along with the patch. That entailed our lead singers mother (who is in the army as a captain) coming up to me and we started talking. Then she offered me one of her captain tabs and "promoted" me. 
I am no Captain Hobo. lol

I went to a local bookstore today to pick up some (gasp) books. Bought myself a smoothie, it was good. Went to work and just got home around 1 am.

Diagnosed myself with strep throat.
Sore throar with bits of white spots and enlarged tonsils, mild fever, fatigue, etc.

Finished another track... not going to upload it yet, because I just posted a different track last week and I don't want to crowd it. I think I'm going to try to get back into the "upload one new track every 2 weeks" groove I had going on last year, provided I have enough time and inspiration.

No. But thanks. I'll just sit here and sizzle for awhile until God helps me work it out. Or my head asplodes and I dead.
Either way.Stuff. Slightly less angry. But not. I also changed my hammie cages and updated my Ubuntu distro. 12.04 now.
'Course, that messed up several of my applications and uninstalled Battle for Wesnoth. But I can deal with that. XD

Bought 2 new pairs of glasses today, one of them being a pair of sunglasses. I've been practically walking around blind for the past 2 years because I hated my old pair, so I'm excited.
