Schlotzsky's destroys them both, though. :P

You northerners. :P

Schlotzsky's was primarily a southern US thing until recently. They've been expanding to other regions of the states, and it's possible one may be opening near you. If you're ever passing through Texas though, hit one up. A bit pricier than Quizno's/Subway, but man oh man are their sandwiches good. O_o

(They're based on the Muffuletta sandwich, if any of you guys know what that one is)

srsly. Stop by next time you see one.

For 'tis a mighty sammich, bringing joy and deliciousness to all.

Been a long time since I've eaten at a Schlotzsky's. I think I had a pizza there. My vote still goes for Subway. Or, lacking that, raiding the local Wal-Mart deli and crafting a mighty sammich. But blast it, the muffuletta is a hideously underrated sammich that is incredibly amazing.

I am the Chozon1. And possibly, a booger head. They'll let anyone on Soundclick, apparently.

Dude, but Chozon, they make the best pizzas I've ever had.

They don't use tomato sauce, but obscene amounts of awesomeness.

And DF is right, Schlotzskys started in Austin, Texas, so if you're from the north you probably haven't had it. We have one in the Springs though.

Take that back. Michigan will never by Canada Minor.

As soon as you said subway of pizzerias, this is what immediately appeared in my mind:

The concept is cool, though. There's a similar set up for a Bibimbop joint around where I live and it's good eat'n.
