My Christmas Poem (2012)

Postby DeadManReedeemed » Tue Dec 25, 2012 1:28 am

A Christmas poem by DeadManReedeeed. No, it has no title.

Today is the the day we all come together
So let's celebrate it now, because we won't be here forever
It's Christmas- the day where family matters
Even if they drive us mad like the Hatter
Even if oil doesn't mix with water
It's still a liquid
So no need to act so touchy and timid
Let's all get along and look on the bright side
And if you wanna fight that badly
Then meet me outside
I'll mop the floor with your face
I'll shove a bar of soap down your throat
I'm not gonna sit around and listen to you gloat
If you have a broken gear in your brain
I'll bust your cog
Then we can all laugh about it
While drinking some egg nog
We can gather round and laugh about how ridiculous we are
And say:

"You can call me anytime,
whether near or far!
We're all idiots in our own way!!!
WE'RE ROTTEN TO THE CORE!!!!!
WE GIVE EACH OTHER BLACK EYES!!!!!!
WHAT ELSE ARE FAMILIES FOR?!?!?
If you don't scrap,
you're not a family.
Just living proof of vanity (and insanity)
But enough of all the bore!!!
Let's enjoy each other's company once more."

So we talk and gawk
And unwrap our presents
While sitting in the Heavenly Father's presence
Being real with each other
Without pulling a heist
While living under the Grace that comes through our Savior
Jesus Christ

We have come very far
We have survived many wars
On the Staircase of Life
We climbed many floors

So as I finish this poem
With this one final plight
I just want to say………

"Merry Christmas to all !!!!
I will BEAT YOU DOWN in the next fight."

The End
As I walk on the road of my life, I find myself constantly stumbling and falling. My stubbornness gets in the way of what God has for me and I end up staying in the same place. Yet God is still patient with me...........

Well, my family played a little Smash Bros Brawl one year, I think that may count a little bit.

An excellent way to spend a winter break, if I do say so myself.
