I play Halo 3 (well, before my disc cracked, anyways. Gotta get a new copy), and I'd like to eventually get ODST... a CCG Firefight would be awesome.

If you're just re-getting Halo 3 for online... don't. Get ODST instead since the multiplayer is Halo 3 with a few extra maps.

Plus Firefight.

And a new campaign.

That's actually what I planned on doing, so scratch what I said in the last post... but that means you gotta pick up ODST, too.

That would really easy, even on Legendary. Just to warn you guys, it's REALLY hard too last a long time on any difficulty over medium by yourself. Maybe, I just suck, but Firefight is 10x harder to do good on than any of the campaigns.

I just played through the Halo Wars demo completely, and I'm actually pretty impressed. I'm not a huge RTS fan, and the thought of one on the console makes me go "looooooooolno" as a rule of thumb, but this one actually seems pretty legit.

ODST's campaign makes me want it more than the multiplayer. Getting away from the 'Chief for a while definitely appeals to me.

I thought you still needed the Halo 3 disk to do MP. I didn't think you could do Halo 3 MP on the ODST disk.

ODST comes with two disk. ODST itself and a "Halo 3 Multiplayer" disk. The multiplayer disk has all the maps+3 and matchmaking, custom games, and forge. So you don't need Halo 3 to play the multiplayer.

So, I think it was Phe and Wolfgang who brought up the idea of playing through Halo 3's Legendary campaign over Live. I wanna do this.

Anyone gonna be around today on account of the holiday? I know Wolfgang's busy most of the day, so how 'bout the rest of youse?
