Pretty sure she always does... but do you have examples of when that happens?

I'm not very far but there were times in the beginning when she's with Hope where she sounds like she speaks perfect english then a few seconds you can hear an accent. I just found it kinda funny.

That's because it's an ENGLISH ACCENT.

Vanille and Fang are voiced by Australians. XD

It's probably just the fact that you're not used to the accent, Spartan. I wasn't at first, and noticed much the same thing, but as I got used to the way that Vanille and Fang speak... I noticed the accent all the time.

Definitely one of the hardest bosses in the game, lost to seymour here a couple of times and couldn't bring myself to try again for months. And yes i think zanarkand is right around the corner after this fight

well after about a month on hiatus, i´ve been playing FFXIII almost everyday and just got my six characters together (still stuck on a boss, but i read atip that tells me i might kill him soon enough) i loooooove this game, the graphics, characters, consepts are great! so much i bought it for myself, even if i had lent it from a friend :p

I got my FFXIII disc fixed up... and now I'm trying to get through it.

Of course, it got borked right before a string of increasingly difficult foes (with shotguns and powerful magic attacks), which has resulted in, more or less, a lot of really tedious or just downright frustrating battles.

Gah.

Did any one give the characters funny names on a second play though?

I called one of the characters "As if" and another "If so then"
So when the characters talk, this happens.

"The town is being attacked! If so then, we must help them!"
"The bomb is going to go off! As if! stop it!"

Those are just random lines I made up, but you get what it is like.
