How many of y'all play it? I've beat all but Conviction and am half way done with that one. :)

I've beaten 1 and 2, and worked about two missions into 3.

3 is hard for me to use, because it has Starforce on the PC, and that doesn't run under Vista/7. So lame. I have to use....certain methods to even install it, let alone play it.

Probably gonna pick that one up on the Xbox and play it on mah 360.

Never touched Double Agent, because I play games in order (usually).

What's starforce? I think Chaos Theory is one of my favorites. Conviction is by far my favorite but Chaos Theory is pretty close. ;) And yes Double Agent is amazing too. I advise picking all 3 up for 360. ;)

I've beaten the original three on different platforms, and the stupid version of Double Agent.

One of the best game series ever.

Depends on how you mean.

At least in the earlier ones that I've played, violence is discouraged, but when it happens, it's quick and brutal.

Stupid version of double agent? The first three discourage killing but the third one really stepped up on letting you kill with no consequences. Good games though.

Yeah. The current-gen versions of the game were wildly different than the last gen versions. Last gen was poo. Sam murders Hisham then goes on the run. EPIC cut scene...lame ending.

Also, you're actually "punished" in Chaos Theory for killing in that it drops your mission score majorly. In my thinkings it's the most violent though, as there are so many ways to kill peeps in brutal fashion...each way has a non lethal alternative, but still.

Also, from the hour-ish I've put into Conviction, it ruined the series.

Nah I like Conviction. It is way different than any of the other games but they pulled it off nicely.

Conviction is good, just not really a Splinter Cell game.

Chaos Theory was the best.

I actually enjoyed Pandora Tomorrow more.

However, the freaking huge levels and the extra ways to knock out/kill in Chaos Theory were better.

You enjoyed it more because of... the constant blasphemous screaming at you? Or was it the lackluster ending?
