This happened an hour ago, and I'm still shaking from the whole experience. I was sleeping and my sister was upstairs, the man clearly saw my sister and smashed my window. I awoke from the bang and ran upstairs and had a glimpse of him. He was running off. Cops are looking for him.
Pray for us, please.

Thanks for the prayers! We're doing much better now. My grandpa is coming by tomorrow to fix the window and we're looking into buying another dog. My chihuahua hid under the bed when the guy started smashing my window. Poor thing.
I made this post about an hour after the incident. I was still in shock. The whole experience was disturbing and has caused a lot of fear for my 10 year old sister. There was much more that happened, but I don't feel like I need to get into detail. Let's just say.. it wasn't just your regular break in attempt.
To be honest, some of you may know that we were planning on moving to a different province. Because of what happened today, it seems very unlikely that we'll be going on that cross-country trip that we were planning. Which is okay. We're still planning on moving away from this horrible neighborhood. It has caused our family nothing but stress, fear and anger. We're praying every day to find out if it's God's plan for us to move.
As you can tell, things have moved very quickly today for us. It pains me that this had to happen on Mothers Day.
