I have over 35 hours into Dragon Warrior VII and I'm still on the first disc. I think I will have to sink 100 hours into this game before I finish it. It's really a shame since this great game is riddled with swearing, quite a difference from the Nintendo versions I have been playing until this point. I'm not exaggerating that every time I load up this game I encounter a swear of some sort. da*n, bas*ard, son of a......, and hell is thrown around pretty casually too. "Get the hell out of here" etc. The Nintendo versions may have had 1 or 2 da*n in it max. :\

#1 would have to be Guild Wars. I probably sunk close to 1000 hours into it over the course of two years. After that I'm not sure of the exact order. I played Red Alert 2 quite a bit, back in the day. Empire: Total War is well over 100 hours, as is Mount and Blade. Knights of Honor would be up there too, if you count all the times I played the demo.

I remember pumping 100 hours into many 4 disc RPG's on the Playstation ala final fantasy, Grandia, Legend of Dragoon. Back then i just had a paper route so when i bought a game i needed it to last for months, so 100 hours was a great thing! When Dragon Quest 10 came out a few years ago i was tempted to try it out but I just can't find 100 hours for one game anymore
Plus, i wonder if amazing AAA games came out less often back then? Now it seems there's a mega-budget blockbuster game coming out twice a month0 Like -

Well...gotta' catch 'em all, right?

Most for me is Morrowind. I don't have an exact tale, but I spent months putting 8-10 hours a day into that game. Then I cut back to around 4-6. I was...slightly addicted. >_> I remember I completed all guild quests (including the house, Vampire, and shrine quests), a good portion of the random quests, and had a level 20 character at least twice. Not to mention the nigh endless tomb raiding to find the best weapons.
I did not, however, have the expansion packs.

This year the most I have put into any game would be MAG at about 70 hours. Back several years ago I use to play TacOps with the guys in the dorms at college (tacOps is very similar to counter strike). I couldnt begin to tell you how many hours I played of that game but it was several hours most days for four years.
